Snacks

Students are allowed to bring one HEALTHY snack to school. Students should have breakfast prior to coming to school, or they can have school breakfast. Fourth grade lunch is at 12:00, so students only need one snack that they can eat mid-morning when they are hungry. Healthy snacks include things like yogurt (tubes only please), string cheese, beef jerky, baked chips and crackers, fruit/veggies, granola bars, fruit snacks. Unhealthy snacks are things like Slim Jims, Cheetos, Candy, Cookies, snack cakes (like Little Debbie), etc.

 

Birthday Treats

Birthdays are important and are celebrated in our classroom. Students may bring in treats for their birthday as long as they are individual, like cupcakes, cookies, brownies, or juice boxes. Please do not send in anything that needs to be cut. If the snack requires plates, napkins, or utensils, please send those in with it.
