Family Medical Leave Act: FMLA requires that Flat Rock Community Schools provide up to 12 weeks of unpaid or paid, job-protected leave to eligible employees for certain family and medical reasons. Employees are eligible if they have worked for Flat Rock Community Schools for at least one year and for 1,250 hours over the previous 12 months. Updating Teacher Certifications: It is the teachers responsibility to keep certification up to date. Click here for instructions on how to renew your certificate.
