Welcome to the Counseling Office
At Flat Rock Community High School, our school counselors, are here to assist students throughout their high school careers. We look forward to building positive relationships with each and every student in Flat Rock. We provide support to students in a variety of ways that could be summarized into two main areas: individual planning and responsive services.
Individual planning provides us with an opportunity to work with students to plan, monitor, and evaluate their academic growth, personal, and career development. In these individual/group sessions, we discuss postsecondary academic goals, career goals, and the path to achieve them.
Our role in providing responsive services leads to addressing direct, immediate concerns that may include (but are not limited to) interpersonal/relationship/family concerns, personal issues, crisis counseling and interventions. We often consult with parents, guardians, administrators, and other professional specialists to ensure that our students’ needs are being met.
The counselors are ready to assist you and your students as you navigate this exciting time of life. Please reach out to us if you have any questions, concerns, or if you need information:
