During the week before Spring Break, the FRCS Band program and Jim Engelbert, brought in Vincent York and his renowned Jazzistry program. This is an educational program that uses live performance to teach the story of Jazz music and its role in America history. Teachers brought their history classes down to the band room to hear him speak and hear him play. The students were attentive and really seemed to enjoy the presentation.
