On Tuesday we hosted representatives from Kiwanis International for a ceremony in the auditorium featuring the chartering of our new chapter of Key Club and the installation of the club officers; President – Troy Kline, Vice President – Simone Marshall, Secretary – Anika Engelbert, Treasurer – Julia Hellar, & Bulletin Editor – Alena Inch. Thank you to Jim Engelbert for serving as faculty advisor for our new club. The mission of Key Club is to conduct service projects within the local community to improve the lives of children. The major focus of Key Club International is summarized in their guiding statement "Children: Their Future, Our Focus.” Our chapter has already begun the planning stage of various service efforts within our community.
